I'm Guy, a professional Chef by trade, living in beautiful Cape May, New Jersey. I have two amazing children, Roger and Sarah, and my better half, Mary Pat. I have been working professionally in the restaurant and catering industry for more than 30 years. With southern roots, I was born in Richmond, Virginia, and am an alumni of University of Tennessee. Hyatt trained in Food and Beverage Management, I had the privilege of catering the 1982 Worlds Fair. My career took me to beautiful Hilton Head Island and there I worked at many prestigious restaurants, such as the famous Alexanders Restaurant and Fratello's, as well as Food and Beverage Director for American Inns and Restaurant Corporation of America. Along the way, I also created a small, fun catering business on Hilton Head Island where I was known as

"The Catering Guy".

After twenty two years as Executive Chef at Cucina Rosa, my family restaurant in Cape May, I began a new culinary adventure with "Chef Guy Private Chef". After many years of preparing hundreds of dinners per night, I am enjoying creating unique dining experiences for more intimate parties and gatherings. We still offer the many entrees that people loved at our restaurant, Cucina Rosa, such as Seafood fra Diavolo, Chicken Portofino and our popular lamb chops as well as some new favorites. My style is not "foo foo" but just honest food that tastes great. Pastas, grilled meats and seafood are all seasoned to perfection and served with the freshest ingredients.
