I’m Guy, a professional Chef by trade, living in beautiful Cape May, New Jersey. \u00a0I have two amazing children, Roger and Sarah, and my better half, Mary Pat. \u00a0I have\u00a0been working professionally in the restaurant and catering industry for more than 30 years. \u00a0With southern roots, I was born in Richmond, Virginia,\u00a0and am an alumni of\u00a0University of Tennessee. \u00a0Hyatt trained in Food and Beverage Management,\u00a0\u00a0I had the privilege of catering the 1982 Worlds Fair. \u00a0My career took me to beautiful Hilton Head Island and there I worked at many prestigious restaurants, such as the famous Alexanders Restaurant and Fratello’s, as well as Food and Beverage Director for American Inns and Restaurant Corporation of America. \u00a0Along the way, I\u00a0also\u00a0created a small, fun catering business on Hilton Head Island where I was known as \u00a0“The Catering Guy”.<\/p>\n

In 1992, my family opened Cucina Rosa Restaurant in Cape May, named for my great grandmother, Rosa. I spent the next \u00a022 years as Executive Chef\u00a0and our specialty was classic Italian cuisine, popular with our local fans and Cape May visitors alike. Now, as private Chef Guy<\/strong>, my menu specialties will include the Cucina Rosa favorites as well as grilled meats, seafood and my southern-influenced menu. \u00a0Although, I \u00a0always say that my dream was to be a sportscaster, what I really love is cooking to make friends and family happy!<\/p>\n
