Chef Guy and his staff did an outstanding job for our 50th anniversary dinner. He came to our rental house complete with tablecloths, flowers, dishes, cutlery and glasses. Each course was meticulously made and delicious, and I was able to enjoy the strawberry cheesecake that he made gluten free. Everyone love the edible flowers too. What a delightful night which will be remembered. The kitchen was spotless after they left and they even put away the cheese and crackers we put out for cocktail hour. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to work with this great Chef. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family and I celebrated a SPECIAL birthday for my husband, also known as Dad and grandpa!
As we certainly didn\u2019t want to spend time cooking, preparing the food and cleaning up, hiring a chef seemed to be the perfect solution for us……and indeed it was!!! Chef and his son Roger prepared 3
Meals for us, culminating in a 4 course \u201cfeast\u201d. The food was locally sourced, prepared and served with the upmost care and attention to every detail! If you are thinking of having a special night or weekend, Chef Guy and Roger are your team!! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chef guy prepared a fabulous surprise birthday meal for 8 for my husband during our vacation week at a rental beach house! It was fantastic, a terrific 4 course meal , along with lovely edible flowers, centerpieces, dishes, etc. He was very responsive and helped me choose a perfect menu, even adapting the meal for those with special dietary needs ( shellfish allergies and non meat eater) . The grilled shrimp were excellently marinated ( and he prepared stuffed Portobello for the allergic!, avoiding the grill entirely once shellfish were on it!) strawberry pear gorgonzola salad was delish, and halibut with crab was exceptional, filling and special…and we had leftovers too! We paired with roasted potatoes and green beans, super fresh. Bread was fabulous, and the chocolate cake with berries and cream was so moist, best ever. Kitchen was left spotless. Great experience! And Chef Guy brought his son Roger, great conversation, very knowledgeable about horticulture, edit me flowers, etc. Table wasbeautifully set for the occasion. Highly recommend for a very special occasion!( did not realize Roger is an Eagle scout, we had an Eagle at our table as well!\ud83d\ude09) <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dinner last night was absolutely fantastic.\u00a0 You have no need to worry about quality after the transport and oven heating whatsoever.\u00a0 \u00a0My wife raved about the scallops and thought they were some of the best she ever had, while my mother-in-law basically made a meal out of the bread and salad.\u00a0 The key lime pie was indeed silky and the personal favorite of my daughter.\u00a0 And I appreciated how accommodating you were, especially on short notice (thanks for the flowers!).\u00a0 And the lobster. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have had you and Roger cook for us on a special family occasion.\u00a0 We hope to return to the shore and have you guys cook for our extended family. I wish you and your son continued success…and the best for your Redskins! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chef Guy prepared and served a fantastic dinner for my wife’s surprise birthday party this summer. Everything was great and my guests really enjoyed the meal he prepared. The planning was easy and Chef’s suggestions were most helpful. The menu we agreed upon was perfect, the food was outstanding and there was plenty of everything. Most importantly, the guest of honor (my wife, Sue) had a really special birthday dinner party with our closest friends. She loved it (especially the cake!)!!! In so many ways, the meal and presentation reminded us very much of our favorite restaurant in Cape May…..Cucina Rosa. We also enjoyed meeting and talking with Guy’s son Roger about Boy Scouts. Including Roger, there were 7 Eagle Scouts on that porch in Ocean City that night. Needless to say, both Chef Guy and Roger must have passed their “Cooking merit badge”! I would highly recommend Chef Guy for any private catering event<\/em>. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My husband and I would drive 2 hours to Cucina Rosa because we loved the food. Luckily, we were just treated to Chef Guy\u2019s dishes at a retirement dinner in Cape May! The service was fabulous. The bartender\/waitstaff was so friendly, professional and personable. The food was delicious. The dishes were served buffet style and the shrimp were excellent. Plump and beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. The pasta was also very good as was the salad and tomato and mozzarella salad. All were delicious. The space was kept spotless and even though I did not eat the chicken or salmon, I was told by friends and my husband that they were both delicious. We really enjoyed the food. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted to plan a party that was fun for all and unique. Chef guy was absolutely the only answer. My \u201cgirls night\u201d was perfect from our delicious salad to our decadent dessert. Chef guy saw to every minute detail from flowers on the tables to catering to our celiac and picky eater guests.\u00a0 Guy made a great night extraordinary. Fabulous chef! Been going to Cucina Rosa for years and loved Chef Guy\u2019s restaurant. Now we had him as our private chef and the experience couldn\u2019t be more wonderful. Guy suggested the perfect menu for our family and the food was delicious! He and his staff took care of our every need and everyone at the dinner party is still talking about it!
